**Best Oral Short Paper Presentation: Since 2016, Meat Science Journal has been recognizing outstanding contributions from young scientists (35 years old or younger) at the biennial International Congress of Meat Science and Technology (ICoMST), specifically in even-numbered years. This year, the award for the best oral short paper presentation will be determined by a panel consisting of the Editors and Editorial Board members of Meat Science. To be eligible for this award, kindly specify whether you prefer an 'oral' or 'any' type of presentation when submitting your short paper. Please note that indicating a preference for a 'poster' presentation you will NOT be eligible to participate in this award.

***Best poster short paper presentation: Foods Journal is an open access and peer reviewed scientific journal that publishes original articles, critical reviews, case reports, and short communications on food science. Foods recognize the work and talent of the young scientists (35 years old or younger) and welcomes all short papers presented during the congress. The award aims to highlight the exceptional work of young scholars, encouraging them to further delve into the realms of food science and nutrition. The awardee will be selected by an independent panel established by the Scientific Committee. It is important to note that candidates who are not present at their poster session will not be assessed. All short papers presented at the congress as posters, from young scientists (35 years old or younger) will be considered for this award
